The Indian Ocean Tsunami Photo Collage

My third and last collage was based on "The Indian Ocean Tsunami". For my last event I was running out of ideas on what to do. Until I was researching and stumbled upon this event. It caught my attention because it was a very tramatic and huge event that had occured in 2004. This event changed alot of lives. Many people were killed from this tsunami. It left a lot of people without homes and the lost of loved ones. To create this collage I used corbis like I did for my other two collages. Photoshop has helped me alot and I learned many different and new things from using this program. I look forward to using it again to create other art.

Titanic Photo Collage

My second collage is based on "Titanic", it was a huge ship that sank and lives were lost. Their voyage started in England and was headed for New York City. Titanic was suppose to be unsinkable, but unfortunately it sank in 1912. I chose this event beacuse Titanic has always been something ive been interested in and sounds like a interesting topic to talk about. At first I didnt know what I wanted my second event to be, until my friend was watching the movie Titanic, and then it clicked in my head that I should do my second collage on this event. I got very excited because I knew that this collage would be so much fun to work on,and I was right. I also got images from corbis, which helped me a lot.

Great Depression Photo Collage

This collage is based on the world event "The Great Depression",this event occurred in the 1930s. Many lives were changed during this depression. It is the first out of three collages I did. When I first started I used photoshop, which was new to me. Making this collage was extremely fun and an interesting project. Photoshop is a great program, I had fun working and experimenting with it. Originally these were all black and white images, but photoshop helped create the look of another color,so its not so black and white. To get where I got with this collage I had to gather images from corbis, and then put them together in a way that the images look and fit right with each other. The reason why I choose "The Great Depression" is because I thought it was a very historical event that seemed interesting to work on.
